As an educator, I firmly believe in the power of laying down the foundation for a child's lifelong learning journey through early childhood education. In teaching preschoolers, the goal is always to build a positive association with schooling in order to develop among them a strong sense of curiosity and love for learning.
I believe in exposing children to a second language at an early age. Preschool is an ideal time to introduce English as a foreign language because young children are naturally curious and open to new experiences. I aim to create an environment where English is used in our daily activities, routines, and play. I will provide opportunities for children to communicate in English, encouraging them to express themselves, share their thoughts as well as ask questions.
Through engaging in play, fun interactions and careful attention to cultural sensitivity, I aim to lay a strong foundation for the children’s English language development.
